A great example of Tri-Pack packaging which helped the mail industry save pounds was our solution for returnable post. Coined, Hot-Desk boxes. These are designed to help support worker mobility and offer storage where a work station might be used by more than one operative.
The collapsible Hot-Desk box incorporates a twin base set that can snap together easily to make a convenient document case, making it a cost-effective way of transporting and sorting files.
We came up with the idea for the Hot-Desk box when we were approached by one of the UK’s leading providers of postal services. They offered us an idea to produce a returnable postal tub which could be stacked when storage space was scarce and could also incorporate a clear labeling pocket with a lockable lid.
While this is just one solution which we offered them, it started a trend and growth in popularity for reusable and recyclable systems for the mail sector as well as other industries.

It was created with multi-fill level options, a clear welded label display and an elasticated lid closure mechanism to make them hard wearing and reusable.

The returnable postal tub is made from 100% recyclable material that was fibre-free and water resistant to help with prolonged use.
